Welcome to the Social AI Group!
We are a team of over 25 researchers (academics, postdoctoral fellows and doctoral students) working in the area of computational social intelligence at the School of Computing Science, University of Glasgow, UK.
Our focus is on building the next-generation Artificial Intelligence technologies for detecting, interpreting, and generating human-centric social and emotional phenomena. Our research spans several interdisciplinary research areas including affective computing, social signal processing, social robotics, and virtual humans, among others.
Our research activities are supported by UKRI, EPSRC, EU H2020, Canada-UK AI Initiative, UK Defence Security & Technology Lab and also by industries such as Intel and Nokia Bell Labs.
